The New Contemporary Art website
currently features the work of artists Steve Slimm and Vincent Rymer. Both
artists, although not originating in Cornwall, have spent a large part of
their artistic career development there. The place, the land, the light - all
play a strong part in influencing the work they produce, either as individual
artists, or together in collaborative paintings.
Steve
has painted there, at the most beautiful southwesterly tip of the UK, for
almost 30 years. Vincent arrived there about fifteen years ago. Each of these
painters has aquired his own particular connection with Cornwall and the
Cornish land, and each embues his work with his own unique special connection.

Art is delighted to open it’s exhibition with the exciting and inspirational
work of Steve Slimm, an artist living and working in Cornwall, UK.
Steve has painted there for the past 30 years or more, and has become known in
the area for his masterful interpretations of the mystery of this ancient
timeless place. We have a selection of work in print, all are contemporary art
prints - i.e.all the prints on offer are Signed Limited-Edition Giclée
prints, (specialised art prints rolled off individually from high quality
original work onto top quality printing paper, and signed and numbered by the
artist).
We also are pleased to carry a range of quality Art Cards reproduced from
the artists' work.
Finally, we are
also proud to exhibit online a selection of Steve's original pieces of artwork
